Savannah

Grey took me on a last hurrah before school started.  It was one of my favorite vacations ever.  Savannah is quite the historic, gorgeous, spooky town.  I LOVED it.

Peppermint tea before we left!  My throat was hurting!

Bad storms on the way down there

Our B&B had our names everywhere - on our door, on our place setting at the table...

Back of B&B
Before dinner the first night

WOO HOO!

See the steeple in between?

Where Forest Gump sat waiting on his mom  - we saw the famous bench place also but the picture I got wasn't "blog worthy"

Juliette Low was the founder of the Girl Scouts!

Low's house

This block closed at 6 every day due to intense paranormal activity...Everywhere else around Savannah likewise closed extremely early.

Dinner on the last night

I forgot to get a picture of the front of the church (totally lame) but this church was awesome!  Completely built by slaves, it also was a major spot for the underground railroad.
Inside you could only take pictures if there were people in them, enter G-dawg

These holes allowed runaway slaves in the tunnels below to breathe. They were all over the bottom floor of the church.

Paula Deen's restaurant.  It was pretty good - they messed up my order though.... :(
LOVED Savannah.  You should go.
