Well folks. This is my 400th post. I feel so...distinguished. :)
Here are 400 things I'm thankful for:
Jokes.
Did you know that the Bachelorette has started up? Go Des!
Have you been watching SYTYCD?
Did you know that there is a new scary virus out in the Middle East killing half of the people infected?
I made chocolate chip cookie dough frozen yogurt last night. De-licious.
I haven't run in about 3 weeks and my body feels amazing. Don't worry, I'm still exercising, I'm just currently trying out low impact stuff. My knees need a break from my half marathon training.
Grey officially started up his 2nd and final year of grad school!
We have a bird's nest WITH a toddler looking sized baby bird in our fern.
We had the most AWESOME weekend in Clemson with my whole fam visiting for little Nora's 3rd birthday party.
Friday night picnics on Bowman field rock my socks off.
4 more whole days of school, 3 half days, and 2 full workdays after that. I think I can, I think I can!
7:30...too early for bed?
See ya!

Hi
Hi. I have one more Monday left with students (2 weeks total). Are you jealous?
I ate really well until 5:30. I had a banana for breakfast, homemade trail mix as a snack, yogurt, an apple, and some string cheese for lunch....and then I came home and had fries, chips and salsa, and cheese. :)
I got up 4 times last night to go pee. (I exercised right before I went to bed and downed a ginormous amount of water).
My mother has 7 more days until she retires. Are you jealous? I am. This gal has like 27 more years left. Oof.
We had fresh home-grown broccoli this past weekend. Hello green thumb!
That is all.

Summer!
Summer is so close, I can feel it!
I have a week and a half left before 68 out of my 81 kids leave for college. That'll leave 2 kids in first block, 8 kids in second block, and 3 kids in 3rd. :)
Plans for the summer:
1. Sleep. Oh my gosh. I want to sleep for 20 out of the 24 hours of the day.
2. We're taking our yearly trips to both Kiawah and Mexico Beach
3. We're taking our first cruise with the Rogers!!!!! :)
4. Grey will start his 2nd and final year of grad school
5. MAGGIE will make her arrival!!! :) I LOVE being an aunt!
6. As if we don't have enough going on, we might actually have our neighbor and her 9 year old son move in with us. She's been jobless for the past 8-9 months. Being completely out of money, she's being kicked out of her house by the end of this month. Grey and I have been praying as to how we can help her out. We've ruled out giving her money because we could never give her enough to even help out with one month of bills, food, gas etc. So when she told us she and her son had nowhere else to go, we offered. I highly doubt she'll take us up but we made her promise that she'd think about it.
What are y'all doing!?

Ek updated and Momma's Day!
While Spartanburg HR has admitted to Greenville HR that they've made a mistake, Greenville is still refusing to take Grey. In fact, they've already hired someone else to fill his position.
On Thursday, Grey went into Spartanburg's offices and threatened legal action unless they gave him his job back since it was their mistake that cost him the job. They agreed and Grey signed another contact. Basically, Grey will stay in his old position unless something else opens up in the district.
Praise the Lord for him having a job! :)
On another note,
Happy Mother's Day to my sweet Momma!
This year I've learned from you:
*The value of teaching us how to cook :)
*That calling your momma almost every day in college and even now helps her know that you're not dead
*To complain to the Walmart customer service people that they've got a shopping cart gang going around in their stores stealing people's carts.
*That a bathroom in our "going to be re-done" attic is ESSENTIAL.
:) You're awesome and I'm thankful to be your daughter! Thanks for all the love and support! I love you!

Ek
Basically, this is where we're at.
Due to a mistake in HR, Grey is currently completely jobless for next year. We need your prayers people as we try and correct HR and figure out where to go from here.

Today
Oh Wednesday...what happened today you might ask?
Got to school and got scolded by a teacher. Apparently my kids are making up lies about me refusing to let them go take their AP test. Um yeah. Not true.
Had a kid spit out snot wads in toilet paper and leave them on his desk. (SO thankful for Lysol)
Got to explain to a kid why "you talk like an African American" is NOT an appropriate comment to make
Grades were due. I turned them in 3 minutes early
Got to explain to a kid why "are you checking out my A*S" is also NOT an appropriate comment to YELL across the room
Is it Friday yet?
