what a day.

I got the healthy cooking 2014 cookbook!

James turned a whole 90 degrees just to look at the tv. Shame boy. Shame.

James was born Jan 9th. He's been on Grey's insurance since Jan 10. Guess what? Our pediatrician has still not filed insurance.  We have a 450 deductible and have now paid over 1000 bucks and just got another $1200 bill in the mail. I called them for the third time today and was not Jesus like.

I'm 27 years old and woke up this morning at 1 am peeing myself. Wow.

Someone wants our house!! They just have to wait for theirs to sell. Sigh.

My take on Frozen

Why do the parents always have to die in Disney films??
I love Olaf.
The Prince turned evil? Didn't see that coming at all!
The music is awesome.
Idina's voice sounds a little too mature for Elsa.
The characters in Frozen look really similar to the characters in Tangled.
I didn't like the trolls. I thought Disney could have done without those.
Overall, A- rating.

updates!

Grey and I have a two hour date tomorrow night planned and I couldn't be more excited.
James slept from 8:30-3:00 one night this week...woo hoo!
I just ate a whole pack of beef jerky.
March madness has started and I'm ashamed to admit that I don't even know who is playing.
I visited Grey's school today and took James. There was a girl who told grey that he needed to stay with her on the dc trip so they could hang out. I eyed her down and told her that as his wife, she could shove it.
I finally got Frozen in the mail! We'll be watching it tomorrow night for the first time!
I decided to randomly count the number of cups of water that I consumed daily last week. My total was 34 cups for one day. Like I've said before, breastfeeding makes you thirsty.
James is 10 weeks today!

 James has had quite the time with Cradle Cap - we've got to put baby oil on his head for 15 minutes, then scrub it off with a toothbrush (you know he just LOVES this part), put dandruff shampoo on it, let that sit for a minute or two, and then wash it all off.  He looks sad, doesn't he?  He knows what's coming!

 Not part of MMM or FFF but I was proud! We had breakfast for dinner last Friday and I made homemade sausage, egg, and cheese muffins! :)

Happy St. Patty's Day! Apparently Katie the Canary was misbehaving.

2 month checkup

The dr is pleased! James is growing and developing like he should. :)
He went from the 35th to the 55th percentile in height measuring in at 24 inches. His weight went from the 15th to the 35th percentile at 10lbs, 14oz. He surprised us all and peed on the doctor and he got his first round of shots. (We both cried.) He is still exclusively breastfed (go me!) Woo hoo! On to month 3!

Selfie Sunday/2 months!

As evidenced by the following pictures, the time change was REALLY hard on little James.  Today he's 2 months old!  Woo hoo!!! SURELY we'll be sleeping through the night in like 1 week, right?  ;)

James is doing well - he's got a DR's appointment tomorrow so I'll be sure to update you after that.  He's a cute little man who has perfected the pouty lip.  He's currently in size 1 diapers and 3 month clothes. We're still eating every 2-3 hours during the day and depending on the week, he gets up 1-3 times at night from 8pm to 8am.
