This past week we went down to Kiawah Island with Grey's family! We had SUCH a fun time!
First time in the ocean! He didn't know what to think! :)
Within a matter of a week, we went from always sleeping on our backs and never moving to *ahem* struggling to stay on the mattress. We initially took the mattress due to James refusing to sleep in a pack 'n play. However, after several stressful night time *issues* :), we ended up blocking him in on 3 out of the 4 sides and have since decided that he will now HAVE to learn to sleep in the pack 'n play if we ever travel. We've also started rolling from our back to our belly during the middle of the night (we have YET to actually see him perform this during the day). Once he gets there, he panics and is unable to flip himself back over (even though we HAVE seen him go from his belly to his back during the middle of the day). Sigh. This meant that in addition to those stressful *ahem* situations mentioned above, we also had to go in several times a night to flip him back over once he was panicking and unable to do it himself. All in all, Grey and I got very little sleep at night.
