Lunch Time

The many faces of little James

The ultimate challenge

Success!

Confusion

We had a house showing last Wednesday.
Wednesday afternoon - we get an offer
Wednesday afternoon - we counter
Thursday morning - the guy rejects our counter
Thursday morning - we counter again.
A
Whole
Week
Goes
By
And
NOTHING.
Today - our real estate agent calls and says that the guy isn't going to respond to our counter because he wants a second showing SOMETIME, nothing scheduled yet, just SOMETIME.
What?!
Why offer if you're unsure you even want our house?
I have lived in anxiousness all. freakin. week.
Boo.

Batter Up!

The windup!

So excited :) This kid LOVES balls!

 Happy to be outside!

Grey has taught James to show his muscles whenever he yells out "Protein!"

Sometimes he likes to prance around while sticking his belly out...I have no idea who he learned this from...

I asked him a question and he shrugged. Sweet sassiness.

 This kid. What a baller.

 Swing!

Training him up so he can earn some of his college tuition in scholarships...

Easter Weekend!

James helped me fold some laundry

We celebrated that Jesus died and rose for us!

 (Look at that cute bowtie!)

We went to the zoo! James LOVED it!

The fish were his favorite part :)

Grammy taught him some stuff about giant cockroaches

 Chillin' like a villian

It was such a fun weekend!

Holy Week

Forever
(By Kari Jobe)

The moon and stars they wept
The morning sun was dead
The Savior of the world was fallen
His body on the cross
His blood poured out for us
The weight of every curse upon him

One final breath he gave
As heaven looked away
The son of God was laid in darkness
A battle in the grave
The war on death was waged
The power of hell forever broken

The ground began to shake
The stone was rolled away
his perfect love could not be overcome
Now death where is your sting?
Our resurrected King
Has rendered you defeated

Forever he is glorified
Forever he is lifted high
Forever he is risen
He is alive, He is alive!

The ground began to shake
The stone was rolled away
his perfect love could not be overcome
Now death where is your sting?
Our resurrected King
Has rendered you defeated

Forever he is glorified
Forever he is lifted high
Forever he is risen
He is alive, He is alive!

We sing hallelujah
We sing hallelujah
We sing hallelujah
The Lamb has overcome

Forever he is glorified
Forever he is lifted high
Forever he is risen
He is alive, He is alive!

You have overcome
You have overcome
You have overcome
You have overcome
