The new picture is for you KS! :)

Our garden had a BAD day yesterday.  So far all we have planted are about 6 plants each of spinach, romaine lettuce, cabbage, iceberg lettuce, and brussel sprouts.  Grey and I were in the middle of an INTENSE (jk) conversation when we saw something moving out of the corner of one garden.  Opening up the back door, we discovered a wild cat taking a poo in the middle of our lettuce garden.  Ahhh...natural fertilizer. I started yelling and Grey merely said, "if we were in the country, I'd have that taken care of with a slingshot"
Oh how I'm thankful we're NOT living in the country... :)

On more careful inspection of the cat poo, we discovered that either deer or pesky rabbits have nibbled all 6 of our iceberg lettuce plants down to the roots.  They didn't touch anything else.  Guess we'll be buying more lettuce plants and some netting...and maybe...a slingshot... :)

Guess what?!  We're starting a new "only go to the grocery store every two weeks" to attempt to save some moo-lah.  I went today and bought the majority of stuff at Sam's (we now have enough mayo to feed Kim Jung Un and his whole N. Korean army...ya know, trying to keep the peace, one fatty thing at a time).  I bought multiple gallons of milk (did you know that Sam's has it for ONE DOLLAR a gallon CHEAPER than Walmart?!) and I put the extras in the freezer.  We'll see how it goes.  It could be a total disaster, but I'm curious!

I made my kids do projects on the unit circle...here are two listed below.  They'll make your day!

2. This one has almost nothing that I required of them but it is freakin' awesome!

Anger

I've been struggling with some anger and bitterness for a while now.  My drives home have become an open door for Satan to attack my thoughts. It seems like the moment I think of it, I can feel my blood pressure rising.  I ball up my fists and yell. I cry a lot.
Grey (as he always does) gently sat me down two nights ago and told me that I need to forgive.

That same night -my quiet time was in the book of Mark

Mark 11: 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”

So as of Monday, I'm making a conscious effort to let go of my anger, to forgive even though my sinful nature doesn't want to, and to love.

Keep me accountable :)

Well...

Call me Martha Stewart. :)
Ok - seriously, PLEASE disregard the dirty mirror.  I promise you that Grey cleans the mirror when he cleans the bathroom.  That stuff if from my "attempt to wear my hair curly" stage and it's permanently on there.  SORRY!
Hey - I made this :) Zipper and all!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!  Thanks JP for the help!!!!

P.S. My half marathon is THIS SATURDAY.... I've had to take this past week pretty much off due to rather intense pain in my right knee.  The pain has gone down and I ran 2 miles on it today without any pain.  Hopefully, I'm still prepared to run 13 in a week! EK!
