Today is a big day.
Today is THE day.
Today, Grey and I had the following conversation:
Me: Grey, it's time. I want to sew.
Grey: Well you've wanted to sew forever now
Me: So.....we can?!
Grey: Yep! Go ahead!
Me (inside head): YAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I just ordered my sewing machine that has now sat in my amazon shopping cart for the past 8 months!
On my list of to-do's:
1. Recover couch pillows
2. Sew curtains for both bedrooms
3. Make either a table runner or a table cloth
4. Start a quilt for our bed
Get ready...it's about to get...CRAFTY!
I feel like such an old woman! :)

TODAY IS MADISON'S BIRTHDAY! :)
Yep. My buddy all the way back from kindergarten turns 24 today. I'm excited.

What happens....
**What happens when you train a cat to play fetch?!
I've currently got a video of Oliver playing fetch with an ice cube. I've tried to upload it twice now and it hasn't worked. I'll keep trying though. You throw the ice cube and he RUNS as hard as he can to get it. He then picks it up and drops it by your feet. He'll do it about 7-8 times before he gets tired of running. :)
**What happens when Aunt Becky is babysitting and Nora starts playing with markers? Oops.
**What happens when you get irritated at your sweet husband and chopping onions relieves that tension? You get over 8 cups of chopped onions...
**What happens when you're not looking and Frankie finds tissue paper?
**What happens when you take your husband back to visit Clemson and the church that you love?
-He finally agrees with you as to the urgency of the move back to Clemson. :) YAY!
**What happens when you get bored and think of fixing up your house?!

**What happens when Grey runs out of clothes to wear while at Kristi and Dan's?
He ends up borrowing MY clothes....they may not look tight, but in some places, they were freakishly tight. I was kinda scared that he was going to bust out of my t-shirt. :)

Beach Trip #3 - James Fam
So the James Fam beach trip was amazing and awesome and cool and fun and intense. :) We had some pretty intense games going on after dinner. Nora was quite the sport and couldn't decide if she liked the water or not. She'd walk right into the ocean going 90 miles per hour and then stand there for 2 seconds and ask to be picked up. It seemed like her favorite thing to do was to splash all the water out of the sand castle bucket. :) She was a champ.
On the way to Surfside, we ran into some intense rain/flooding.
The water was up to the bottom of our car doors. When we went through, firemen were in the process of closing down roads.
We saw this front beauty...the "Yard of Excellence"

Apparently the James girls know how to take some awkward pictures with their husbands. :)

The water was up to the bottom of our car doors. When we went through, firemen were in the process of closing down roads.

Beach Trip Number 2 - Kiawah
So beach trip number two was with Grey's mom and her family down in Kiawah. Kiawah was absolutely stunning. There was hardly anyone on the beach so it really felt relaxing and not hectic. I loved it!
See the big pimple looking thing in the MIDDLE OF MY FOREHEAD?! I actually got stung by a mosquito. Dang bug.
My first EVER drip castle...Grey taught me how!

The deer were EVERYWHERE! So were alligators, but I always failed to have my camera with me when they were present. We even went looking for them one evening!
